Hotel Policies

Please read carefully the policies of Hotel Galaxias.

Pricing Policy: Room rates are Bed Only prices and depend on the selected period, the availability and duration of the stay. Breakfast is optional at an extra cost. Very often we provide discount offers which are non refundable and they are being paid in advanced by bank deposit or by credit card.

Age Policy: Infants : 0-6 years old. Children : 6 - 12 years old. Adults : 13 + years old.
Infants (0-6) are not charged, if they use their parent's bed. Otherwise treated as children.
Children (6-12) are charged 10 euro per night in an extra bed.
Adults (13+) are charged 15 euro per night in an extra bed.

Non-Refundable Rates / Discount Offers: Non-Refundable rates or discount offers are special lower prices paid at the time of the booking, with no option of returning any money.

Extra bed / person : An extra bed to a room is charged 10 euros per day if it has to do with a child up to 12 yeard old. For adults (13+ years old) the exra bed is charged 15 euros per day. Extra beds can be added only to double rooms, to convert them to triple. No other options are available.

Booking Validation: Customer has to deposit in our bank account the prepayment set by the system (for normal room rate) or the total amount (for Non Refundable or any discount offer). Alternatively he/she can use his/her credit card. Then the booking will be valid.

Cancellation Policy: If cancellations are made 14 days earlier than the day of arrival, the client will be refunded the money provided for the selected reservation. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to arrival, 50% of the amount is refunded. If the customer does not appear, no money is returned. For non-refundable bookings or discount offers, there is no option to cancel or change or refund.

Special Requests: We try our best up to the last minute to satisfy your special request. If we cannot fulfill it, we provide whatever is available. For example, we can provide single beds instead of a double, room at an other floor or place of the building etc.

Non Show client: In case of a non show client until 24:00, booking is being canceled with no option of returning any money, unless the client has informed the hotel about the delayed time of arrival.

Check in: Check-In time starts from 14:00. You can verify directly with the reservation desk whether the room will be ready anytime sooner.

Check out: Check Out time is no later than 12:00 noon. You can verify directly with the reservation desk whether the room will be available for a Late Check Out.

Late Check-Out: If it is possible, due to our reservations, it will be charged 50% of the room rate for departure from 12:00 to 18:00. After 18:00 it will be charged 100% of the room rate.

Visitor Policy: A person can visit a room only if the client asks for it, and only if he/she leaves his/her ID at the reception. For a visit more than 30 minutes, or for a visit after 23:00 and before 09:00, or in case the visitor makes use of room equipment (wc, linen, bed etc) he / she is being charged as an extra person in the room, at least 15 euros per day/night. Visitors are persons not included in the reservation, and visitor rates have nothing to do with reservation rates or special offers.

Smoking: Smoking is NOT allowed in the room, or in the hotel. It is strictly prohibited. Guest will be charged at least 150 euro for extra cleaning purposes, and will be expelled from the room, in case we determine smoke / smell traces in the room. Also, we shall certainly charge financial losses, if next client refuses to use the room, due to smoke / smell traces.

Food in the room: No food is allowed in the room. Food / drinks: Our customers are not obliged to consume food / drinks from out restaurant / bar. Customers are not allowed to use hotel areas, facilities and equipment for food / drinks from other businesses.

Pets: Not allowed.

Room's furniture & clothing: We cannot guarantee the furniture or the color of the clothing in the rooms. It may vary.

Use of kitchenette: We always try to keep our rates as low as possible, having great value for money. So, use of kitchenette, if exists in the room, is not included in the room rate, because it demands more cleaning time by the maid. And most clients do not need it. If you want to have this service, you will be extra charged with just 5 euros per day, for ALL the days of stay. Otherwise we charge 10 euro for every single day. With this service we provide Kettle, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, small pot (for boiling egg or milk), coffee / tea and sugar for the days of stay. Equipment for breakfast or for really light food. Cooking in NOT permitted.

*** The price that the customer sees at the Online Booking does not include the overnight fee of 0.5 Euro per night paid by each customer at the hotel.
